The game
Max Beyond combines stealth, combat and tactical play with a cinematic story. You play as Leon, a former Marine jumping between universes to break his adopted brother Max out of the Axion lab. If Max dies, the universe falls into chaos.
Two characters, one player
The core mechanic is that the player also directs Max through smart commands. His powers include slowing time, shields, levitation and telekinesis, but each one has a cost: stronger abilities take longer to recharge, and Max weakens the more they are used.
